Heather realized she had a strong
sense of style when her mother
started raiding her closet in high school.
Still, she never thought of pursuing fashion as a career and instead majored in English at Northwestern University. While working as an editor at the Chicago Reader, she started writing articles about local boutiques and designers--which led to jobs writing for Women's Wear Daily (the bible of the fashion industry), Modern Bride, Chicago Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, and many other publications.
During a sabbatical in Rome, she became impressed with the Italians' appreciation for quality design and dedication to the concept of la bella figura, or presenting one's best image to the world. Upon her return to Chicago she started her business as an independent personal stylist and wardrobe advisor to help area women improve and refine their own style and closets.
For over six years Heather has helped a wide variety of clients--including recent college graduates, stay-at-home moms, busy professionals, companies and associations--tackle not only their wardrobes and their dread of shopping but the underlying beliefs and habits that keep them from looking their best.
Please take a moment to read some of those clients' testimonials as well as magazine and newspaper articles about her work.
